Monthly giving to a charity, Giving Group, or Campaign

If you'd like, you can schedule monthly gifts from your Impact Account to charities, Giving Groups, and Campaigns as a convenient way to provide ongoing support.

When you're giving from your Impact Account to a charity, Giving Group, or Campaign, you’ll see the option to give on a monthly basis. You can schedule your gift on the 1st or 15th of each month.

Note:

Your monthly gift will be made from your Impact Account balance. To make sure you always have enough money in your Impact Account for your monthly gifts, you can also choose to set up a monthly deposit.

To schedule a monthly gift:

On the web:

  1. On your dashboard, select Create gift.
  2. Type the name of the charity, Giving Group, or Campaign you would like to give to in the search bar. Please note that Campaigns are categorized with Giving Groups.
  3. Select the charity, Giving Group, or Campaign from the search results.
  4. Select Give.
  5. Enter the gift amount. 
  6. Under Repeat this gift, select Make this gift repeat on the 1st of every month or Make this gift repeat on the 15th of every month from the drop-down menu. 
  7. Once you have filled out the rest of your gift information, select Continue.
  8. Review your monthly gift on the confirmation screen, then select Send gift to schedule your gift.

On the iOS app:

  1. On the Home screen, select Create gift.
  2. Select Create a gift for a charity or Giving Group.
  3. Type the name of the charity, Giving Group or Campaign you would like to give to in the search bar. Please note that Campaigns are categorized with Giving Groups.
  4. Select the charity, Giving Group, or Campaign from the search results.
  5. Select Give.
  6. Enter a gift amount. 
  7. Under Frequency, select Send monthly. You will then have the option to choose when your gift will be sent. Select either the 1st of every month or the 15th of every month
  8. Once you have filled out the rest of your gift information, select Review
  9. Review your monthly gift on the confirmation screen.
  10. Select Confirm monthly gift to schedule your gift. 

Note:

For Giving Groups or Campaigns, the administrator of the Giving Group or Campaign needs to enable monthly gifts, or else the option to repeat the gift will not be displayed.

Money added to a Campaign or Giving Group remains in the Campaign or Giving Group's balance until the administrator gives it away to the charity of their choice. 

Cancelling a monthly gift 

You can cancel a monthly gift to your account at any time before the next processing date. Learn more about cancelling monthly gifts.

Scheduling for monthly deposits and monthly gifts

Monthly deposits into your Impact Account and monthly gifts out to charities and Giving Groups can be scheduled for the 1st or 15th of each month. Regardless of the date you choose for these scheduled transactions, monthly deposits into your account will be processed before monthly gifts out to charities and Giving Groups.
