October 2025: Improved charity pages
As of October 2025, we’ve updated charity pages to make it easier for you to explore and connect with the causes you care about.
Here’s what’s new:
- Improved layout: Charity pages now feature a redesigned layout with clear, tabbed sections for About, Activities, and Revenue & expenses. You can easily explore a charity’s story, impact, and financial details in one place. Explore charities you care about.
- Clearer contact information: Charity contact details pulled from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) are now displayed in a clearer, more organized way, making it easier to reach out to the organizations you want to support.
- AI-generated charity descriptions: Charity pages may include an AI-generated description when no user-generated description is available to help you understand the charity’s purpose, focus, and activities. If you notice an issue with these descriptions, you can use the 'Let us know' link on the charity’s page to report it. If you work with a charity, you can also claim the page to update the description. Learn more about AI-generated descriptions.
- Greater transparency: We’ve added clearer explanations and details about where the information on charity pages comes from. Learn more about information and data on charity pages.
- Updated address management for charity admins: Charity admins can now add and update two separate addresses on their page, both of which are populated with the CRA address by default:
- The publicly displayed address appears on the charity’s page and is visible to donors.
- The disbursement address is used to mail disbursement cheques.
