Join or leave a Giving Group

How do I join a Giving Group?

When you’re logged into your Impact Account, you’ll need to join a Giving Group before you can contribute to the group. As a Giving Group member, you’ll receive email notifications about group activity, including comments from other supporters and updates from the group’s administrators. If you only want to receive certain updates, you can adjust your email preferences at any time.

To join a Giving Group

On the Giving Group page, select Join group. This will allow you to give to the group and participate in conversations with other members.

To leave a Giving Group

If you no longer want to be a member of a Giving Group or receive notifications about its activity, you can leave the group at any time.

On the web: 

  1. Select Giving Groups & Campaigns in the top navigation.
  2. Under Giving Groups you have joined, select the three dots in the top-right corner of the Giving Group you wish to leave.
  3. Select Leave Group.

On the mobile app: 

  1. Select Profile from the bottom menu.
  2. Under Joined Giving Groups, select the Giving Group you wish to leave. 
  3. On the Giving Group page, select the three dots in the top-right corner. 
  4. Select Leave Group.
