Join or leave a Giving Group

How do I join a Giving Group?

When you’re logged into your Impact Account, you’ll need to join a Giving Group before you can give to the group and interact with group members. As a Giving Group member, you’ll receive email notifications about group activity, including comments from other supporters and updates from the group’s administrators. If you only want to receive certain updates, you can adjust your email preferences at any time.

To join a Giving Group

On the Giving Group page, select Join group. This will allow you to give to the group and participate in conversations with other members.

To leave a Giving Group

If you no longer want to be a member of a Giving Group or receive notifications about its activity, you can leave the group at any time.

On the web: 

  1. Select your Impact Account on the Home screen.
  2. Select Giving Groups & Campaigns in the left navigation.
  3. Select Joined to filter Giving Groups you have joined.
  4. Find the Giving Group you wish to leave, and select the three dots in the top-right corner.
  5. Select Leave group.

On the mobile app: 

  1. Select Groups in the bottom navigation.
  2. Select the drop-down menu beside Giving Groups to filter Joined Giving Groups. 
  3. Select the Giving Group you wish to leave. 
  4. On the Giving Group page, select the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen. 
  5. Select Leave group.
